Rongoā Rakau Workshop in January

Rongoā is traditional Māori medicine and is made up of a variety of practices.  Rongoā focuses on the spiritual aspect of health and includes herbal remedies, physical therapies like massage and manipulation, and spiritual healing. This January we are offering an Introduction Workshop for Rongoā Rakau. The workshop is intended to give you a snapshot into Te Āo Rongoā (the world of Rongoā) by re-connecting you to Papatūānuku. It will help guide you to recognise the importance of self-awareness in all aspects of your being.
Rongoā is not a destination, it is a journey of self-discovery and having an inter-connectedness with all creation.

On Saturday 13th September at 10am the PTS team will be taking part in the Our Amazing Place Community Treasure Hunt and we’d love to see you there. Prizes, entertainment and lots of fun for all the family – and it’s all free. Find us at the PTS display on the Opanuku Stream by the cycleway at the end of Garelja Rd, Henderson & working with volunteers from the Church of Latter Day Saints planting and mulching. CALLING ALL CREATURES OF THE NIGHT

Come and join in with the night life on Friday 29 July at 7pm on the Opanuku stream. Enjoy the bright lights created by the luminescent limpets. Other nocturnal characters might appear like fresh water crayfish and long finned eels, and sometimes other unexpected characters appear out of the gloom.

Meet on Mountain Rd at the entrance to the Opanuku Pipeline Track.
