The Big Henderson Creek Clean-Up was held on Saturday 9th March at Tui Glen reserve. 40 volunteers helped to clean the stream banks on land while 10 volunteers collected waste from the stream from 5 boats. All up we managed to fill ¾ of a large skip and 7 big bags of recycling. Collected waste included a mini baseball bat, a plastic rat and a rubics cube. Thanks to all the volunteers on the day for their contributions, and for braving the heat!
